Our History

Koehler Kheel Realty began its work in Easton developing affordable single-family homes.  The company specialized in rehabilitation and deconversion of multi-unit properties to create safe, attractive and affordable homes for first-time buyers.

The company's construction philosophy was developed during this period in large part from the guidance of Mr. Walter Nase, who set the standard for the quality of work Koehler Kheel would do.  Mr. Nase, our construction foreman, worked with us nearly 20 years before retiring in 2005.  He was the former owner of Clarence Nase and Sons painting company, where he gained the expertise he would later share with our company's employees.

Koehler Kheel later began rehabilitating larger commercial properties, including The National Building at 400 Northampton Street and other commercial buildings in the downtown and West Ward neighborhoods of Easton.  The company currently operates approximately 300,000 square feet of commercial property downtown, including:

Eastonian Condominiums, 140 Northampton Street; Riegel Mansion, 214 Spring Garden Street, the former Lenny's Building at 45 Centre Square; 414 Northampton Street; 403 Northampton Street; Chipman Mansion at 214 Northampton Street; and the former VFW building at 516 Northampton Street.
